Climate change Mitigation
MAWDA helps the community to adapt by learning how their areas are vulnerable to climate change and advocating for smart policies that reduce risk. You can also support local initiatives that help people prepare for and recover from extreme weather events or simply reduce your use of water in times of drought.
Climate change is a serious problem, but our areas (community) can continue to thrive if we all work together to both avoid the worst impacts and adapt to our changing world by promoting Climate Smart Agriculture Practices among the range of livelihood options for including sustainable solutions to minimize the pressure on scarce resources such as water and land.
